The www.e-sato.gr website (hereinafter referred as "Online Store") is the online store of the Greek limited liability company under the trade name “ SATO– Office And Home Products Limited Liability Company” with the distinctive title "SATO S.A.", located in Irakleion, Attica, 6 Proveleggiou street, 14122, tel. 210-8767000, www.sato.gr. SATO S.A. complies with all applicable provisions of laws and circulars concerning distance contracts and has been registered in the relevant Register of Suppliers who conclude "Distance Contracts", according to Article 4 of Law 2251/1994, which is maintained by the Ministry of Economy, Competitiveness and Shipping (former Ministry of Development) under registration number 423/2009. The visit and use of the Online Store automatically implies the acceptance of these Terms of Use. In case of disagreement with the following terms and conditions, the visitor must not use the Online Store. SATO S.A. reserves the right to unilaterally modify, add, alter, or renew the content or services of the Online Store, as well as the Terms of Use, whenever it deems it necessary and without prior notice, by means of making a relevant announcement of the same through the Online Store.
Product delivery time
The delivery time of the order to the customer is defined according to the availability of the products and is indicated in the order confirmation. SATO S.A. reserves the above delivery time of the goods in case of force majeure. Hence, in case of a delayed delivery of the order due to force majeure events, such as, but not limited to, extreme weather conditions or strikes, SATO S.A. shall not be at default.
If within 45 days from the agreed delivery receipt date of the products, the buyer does not accept to receive them, SATO S.A. shall be entitled to charge the buyer with the costs of their storage and handling in its warehouses. Additionally, the company reserves the right to cancel the order after the 45 days of the products' stay in its warehouses and to offset the amount received against the costs incurred from this order.
Online Store Products
Office furniture and related products (hereinafter referred as "Products") form the product range of SATO S.A. are available for sale through the Online Store at lower prices from the stores. The Online Store prices apply only valid orders placed through the Online Store and delivery to the customer's premises. Products purchased through the Online Store can only be delivered within the Attica basin and in the prefecture of Thessaloniki (within a radius of 30km from the distribution center located in 14km Thessaloniki-Thermi). The Online Store products are sold until stocks are exhausted. The www.e-sato.gr online store cannot make any guarantees regarding the availability of the products but guarantees the timely notification of final consumers about their unavailability. The products photos are indicative and the colors in which they appear may be slightly different.
Limitations OF LIABILITY
SATO S.A. offers the products of the Online Store for sale in accordance with represents terms of use and the applicable legislation.
SATO S.A. is not responsible for any damage’s losses caused to customers and/or users of the Online Store and is only obliged to return and replace products as stated below. SATO S.A. is not responsible for any form of damage (actual, special or profit loss, which indicatively and not restrictively, alternatively and/or cumulatively consists of profit or data loss, compensation payment, etc.) incurred by the visitor/user of the Online Store or a third party due to a cause related to the operation or use of the services, pages, services, options and contents to the inability to provide services and/or information distributed through it and/or with any unauthorized interventions by third parties in products and/or services and/or information made available through it. The above causes are expressly agreed upon include any errors or omissions during the electronic registration of the information provided (prices, product characteristics, etc.), as well as errors, omissions, or technical causes of any kind, which affect or suspend the operation of the Online Store and/or its services for a reasonable period of time.
SATO S.A. bears no responsibilities for incidents related to the defective operation of the Online Store or to the failure to provide its services in general or to the defective provision thereof, due to random events or force majeure reasons or reasons due to the fault of other entities.
SATO S.A. reserves the right to proceed to additions, deletions, or other modifications to the Online Store and to the information and/or services provided through it, as well as to changes to the information, search methods, at its absolute discretion.
SATO S.A. takes all the measures appropriate for access to the Online Store and its services to remain continuous and uninterrupted, to the extent this is possible. However, it reserves its reasonable right to interrupt the operation of the Online Store and/or the individual services to carry out system maintenance works, without prior notification to the user.
Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights
The Online Store content and services, the images, graphics, photographs, any designs, texts and all its files in general, constitute intellectual property, distinctive features and registered trademarks, and/or service marks of SATO S.A. and are protected according to the relevant provisions of the current legislation, and are made available to its users strictly for personal (not for commercial or for profit-making) use. None of them may be sold, copied, modified, reproduced, or republished or "uploaded", transmitted or distributed in any way, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of SATO S.A. The names, images, logos and distinguishing features representing SATO S.A. or third parties as well as their products or services, constitute exclusive trademarks of SATO S.A. or third parties, protected by the applicable trademark laws. Their appearance in the Online Store should in no way be understood as a transfer or assignment of a license or right to use them.
User responsibility
The Online Store must be used exclusively for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not restrict or prevent its use by third parties. The visitor is obliged to use the Online Store in accordance with the law, principles of morality and these terms and conditions, and not to perform any acts or omissions that may cause damage or malfunction to it, affect, or endanger the provision of services by SATO S.A. The visitor/user of the Online Store assumes responsibility for any damage caused to SATO S.A. by poor, illegal or improper use of the relevant services.
Links to the Website
"Links" to the Online Store are permitted only to the main page of the Online Store and not to other pages unless there is an express agreement to the contrary between SATO and the referring party.
Personal Security Information
The management and protection of the personal data of the visitor/user of the Online Store is governed by the terms of this section and the relevant provisions of the applicable legislation. SATO S.A. reserves the right to change the terms of personal data protection upon informing the visitors/users and in accordance with the applicable legal regime.
Upon registration in the services of the Online store (product orders, newsletters, etc.), the customer/user may be registered to register certain personal data (name, address, VAT number, etc.). SATO S.A. safeguards the personal nature of its users' data and does not transfer them to any third party (natural or legal person) for any reason, apart from the relevant provisions of the law and only to the competent authorities, upon their legitimate request.
SATO S.A. keeps records of these data exclusively for communication, statistical and improvement of services provided. These data are used for SATO S.A. in order to:

- To fulfil the terms and obligations of the services provided through the Online Store,
- To support and service the customers/users,
- To ensure the smooth operation of the Online Store and
- To inform customers/users about new offers of SATO S.A. services and products. In any case, the customer/user of the Online Store has the right to contact the competent SATO department at 2130181613 to request the deletion, correction or change of any personal data retained.
Placing an Order
Orders must be received via the Online Store by filling in and sending the relevant Order Form.
Product prices include VAT. SATO S.A. reserves the right to change prices without prior notice except prices for an order that have already been placed.
When placing an order, the customer is given the opportunity to choose whether the document issued for the order will be a retail receipt or a sales invoice. An invoice is issued to companies and freelancers after they have filled in the following details when placing their order: Company name, Tax ID, Tax Office, Headquarters and delivery address and profession. Any changes to the invoicing data can be made until the delivery date is finalized by the dispatch department.
Product guarantees
SATO S.A. provides a three (3) year warranty for the products purchased through the Online Store, which covers the provision of technical services for the maintenance of the products and the repair of any defects that may occur within the warranty period and are proven to be due to material failure or manufacturing error, as well as the supply of spare parts. Exceptionally, textile/leather surfaces as well as foam materials are covered by one (1) year guarantee of proper functioning.
The warranty does not cover destruction or deterioration of the product due to misuse or inappropriate use, damage due to normal wear and tear and use, natural disasters, or unavoidable external events. Indicatively, the warranty does not cover damages caused to the product due to abnormal environmental conditions (humidity, exposure to excessive heat, cold or light, etc.), overloading, inadequate care (tearing, burning, use of inappropriate cleaning products, etc.), damage due to the use of non-genuine parts or spare parts or intervention by a third party.
The buyer is obliged to check the products for defects and deficiencies at upon receipt, at the place specified on the order form. In the case of deliveries to an agency, the inspection must be carried out at the time of delivery. If no defect or shortage is declared, the receipt is considered unconditional and SATO S.A. is not liable. During the warranty period, the product or its components shall be either repaired or, if this is not possible, replaced with new ones. The choice of the method of repair is entirely up to SATO S.A. If the product or component requiring replacement is no longer available in the SATO S.A. product range, it shall be replaced by another of the same product category and corresponding retail price. The duration of the guarantee starts from the date of receipt of the product indicated on the retail receipt or invoice. The repair request must be made within the warranty period by presenting the invoice or retail receipt. The receipt of products to be repaired/replaced within the warranty period is free of charge only for the Attica Basin and the prefecture of Thessaloniki. The buyer's claims arising from the purchase contract as well as his legal rights are not limited by this guarantee.
Applicable law and other terms
Any provision of the above terms becomes contrary to the law, shall automatically cease to apply and is removed from the present, without in any way affecting the validity of the other terms.
Any waiver, granting of a time limit or failure to enforce one or more of these Terms by SATO S.A. shall not be construed as a waiver, whether temporary or final, partial, or total, of any right or claim arising thereunder or by law.
This Agreement shall be governed by European and Greek law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens.
